On 09-16-2014 at approximately 11:42 am, Karen Ponciano, 54 of the 24000 block of Fairgrove Dr, Elkhart, reported that an unknown person forced entry to her residence through a bedroom window and took a television and a guitar without her permission.  The residence was locked at the time and no one was home.

On 09/16/2014, at 3:39 PM, William Hosler of Frontier Communications reported an incident of theft in the 800 block of S. 10th St. sometime from 12:00 AM to 1:00 PM on 09/16/2014, a suspect used a cutting tool to cut and steal four pieces of copper piping from two air conditioning units used to cool telecommunications equipment.

On 9/16/2014 at 6:50PM Marjorie Coleman, 53, was stopped for a traffic violation at SR 19/Hively Ave. Marjorie Coleman failed standard field sobriety tests, and registered .10 %BRAC on a certified chemical test at 7:46PM.  Marjorie Coleman was incarcerated for operating while intoxicated.

On 09-17-2014 at approximately 02:05 am, Brandon Ambris, 35, was stopped in the area of SR 19 and Windsor for traffic violations.  He failed field sobriety tests, and refused a certified chemical test.  He was incarcerated.

On 9/17/2014 at 8:49 a.m. Doug Bechtel (64) advised that between 9/16/2014 at 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. unknown suspect(s) removed a blue barrel full of aluminum from his property located in the 23000 block of River Manor Blvd.

On 09/17/2014 at 11:08 a.m. Diane Galbreath (36) advised that unknown suspect(s) removed items from her vehicle in the 58000 block of  Jason Ct. between 9/17/14 at 12:01 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. including her debit card that was used to make purchases at different locations.

On 09/17/2014 at 11:53 a.m., Michael Miracle, 35, and Mindy Miracle, 31, reported on 09/17/2014 at 08:01 a.m. unknown suspect(s) removed gasoline and cash from their vehicle located in the 58000 block of CR 115, Goshen, IN.

On 9-17-2014 at approximately 11:35 pm, Sarah J. Garcia, 37, fled from police and gave a false name and information to officers while the officers were investigating criminal activity in the 26000 block of CR 4.  She was incarcerated for resisting law enforcement, false informing, and a valid felony Elkhart County warrant for her arrest.

On 09/18/2014 around 1:04am the BP gas station in the 21000 block of SR 120 was robbed by three subjects and was armed with a firearm.  The unknown accused took 10 packs and 4 cartons of cigarettes.  The incident is under investigation with the Elkhart County Sheriff Department.

On 09/18/2014 at 06:04 a.m., Martha Baker, 52, reported on 09/17/2014 at 06:18 p.m. unknown suspect(s) stole a generator and air cleaner cover from shed located in the 51000 block of CR 29, Bristol, IN.
