The Shell Gas located at 444 Sawmill road reported an armed robbery early this morning. A store employee reported that the business had been robbed around 4:00 am by a w/m, armed with a black handgun. The suspect entered the store and demanded all of the cash from the register. The clerk was forced to open the register at gunpoint, at which time the suspect grabbed all of the proceeds from the register placed the cash in a black plastic bag. The suspect immediately fled the store and ran across the street to the Denny’s parking lot. No injuries were reported. Video surveillance shows a white male, short brown hair, 5'10-6'0, 170-190lbs. The suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt, no hood, black pants, white sneakers with stripes , white gloves and had a pink mask covering his face. The suspect was seen getting into a light colored 4dr vehicle in the Denny’s parking lot. The above attached is a photo of the suspect. Nothing further to release pending further investigation.
