On Sunday, June 17, 2012 at approximately 12:36 AM, the Galt Police Department along with members of the Joint Elk Grove / Galt SWAT team arrested a fugitive recently featured on the America's Most Wanted Crime Show.  26 yr. old Tina Barron was arrested in the 500 blk of Lincoln Way for outstanding arrest warrants in connection with violent crimes she committed against two individuals in Sacramento.

As Officers surrounded the house Barron was visiting, she attempted to escape on foot out the back door but was quickly apprehended by a Galt PD K9 team and Police Sergeant.  Barron was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department for her outstanding warrants.
