The District Representative Support Command (Regions 1, 2, 3, and 4) was created as part of the Austin Police Department’s strategic vision.

Bureaus, geographic boundaries and personnel alignments throughout the department have changed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.  Edward Sector is located in North East Austin-Region 2.

The Edward Sector is composed of four districts Edward1, Edward2, Edward3 and Edward4, which are within the boundaries of:

• North:   Howard Ln/Wells Branch Pkwy/Parmer Ln
• East:     Hwy 290/ SH 130 Toll Road
• South:   Research Boulevard/Anderson Lane/Hwy 290
• West:    Metric Boulevard/IH 35 (North of Parmer)
