The District Representative Support Command (Regions 1, 2, 3, and 4) was created as part of the Austin Police Department’s strategic vision.

Bureaus, geographic boundaries and personnel alignments throughout the department have changed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.  George Sector is located in Downtown Austin-Region 1.

The George Sector is composed of four districts George1, George2, George3 and George4, which are within the boundaries of:

• North:  12th Street (West of IH-35)/11th street (East of IH-35)
• East:    Chicon Street
• South:  Lady Bird Lake
• West:   Lamar Boulevard
